Skirmish at King and Queen Court-House, VA, the Richmond (VA) Campaign.

Maj. Gen. David B. Birney, USA, is temporarily in command of the 2nd US Army Corps, VA, as Maj. Gen. Winfield S. Hancock, USA, is wounded, the Richmond (VA) Campaign.

Brig. Gen. William T.H. Brooks, USA, assumes the command of the 10th US Army Corps, the Richmond (VA) Campaign.
