Sanders’ Brigade (Wilcox’s/Perrin’s) was also part of this division. Sanders was killed at the Crater on 30 July, and the brigade was commanded on this date by Colonel J. Horace King.
Correction. . . Sanders was killed on August 21, not the Crater.
