HEADQUARTERS ROSSER’S BRIGADE,
June 17, 1864.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE EXAMINER:
In your issue of yesterday I see an article reflecting on an individual in this neighbourhood. The article was written some ten days since, and as it was published since we moved camp, it might create the impression that it occurred at our present camp, on the premises of Captain Peleski. In justice to Captain Peleski, I feel it a duty to state that the occurrence did not take place here, and that Captain Peleski has treated our command with great courtesy and kindness.
Respectfully, J. N. B.1
