  • Note: Only the 2nd Battalion of the 184th New York, consisting of companies C, E, G, H, I, and K was present at the Siege of Petersburg during the Fifth Offensive.  The First Battalion, consisting of Companies A, B, D, and F, fought in the 1864 Shenandoah Valley Campaign and did not rejoin the Second Battalion at Petersburg until early December 1864.8
