  • Note: The 22nd Iowa, 131st NY, and 159th NY, a portion of Second Brigade, Second Division, XIX Corps, arrived at Bermuda Hundred on July 25, 1864 aboard the steamer Cahawba. The brigade appears to have been placed in the Union trenches on Bermuda Hundred until July 31, when the entire brigade departed for Washington, D.C.13,14
