Philetus Shaw Diary: June 15, 1864

Note: This is one of many diary entries of Philetus Shaw, who participated in the Petersburg Campaign as a member of the 109th New York.

June 15, 1864:1

Marched fifteen miles and encamped. Crossed the James River at high point on pontoon bridge at twelve o’clock at night. Marched all night.
