Philetus Shaw Diary: June 14, 1864

Note: This is one of many diary entries of Philetus Shaw, who participated in the Petersburg Campaign as a member of the 109th New York.

June 14, 1864:1

Up all night. Started on, crossed the Chicahonomy River and encamped on a large plantation one mile from the James River.
