This doesn’t appear to be complete and there appears to be a problem with query that is driving the page.

Brian,

It’s not even close to complete. I’m slowly working through the orders of battle and adding units the first time they appear. This is a process which has taken and will take me years to complete.

The catlist plugin does appear to have some issues. This happened on one of the last few updates, and I’m currently looking for the cause. I hope to have it fixed as soon as possible.

I don’t see the NY 118th Volunteers on the list. Most of the men from this area enlisted in that unit.

Melissa, I am slowly moving through the orders of battle for both sides and adding unit pages as time allows. The 188th New York, as a member of the Army of the James, will most certainly be listed soon. In fact, I have decided to just post “placeholder” pages for all units at an accelerated pace so I can have every unit listed which was at Petersburg. I’ll then go back as time allows and fill in the details.

I asked about the 118th, not the 188th; probably just a typo. Thanks so much

Melissa

Yep, it was a typo. I meant the 118th, just was in a hurry when I typed it. Sorry about that.

I just wanted to give everyone here an update, that, as of late January 2013, I have all of the New York infantry units from the 2nd, 5th, and 9th Corps of the Army of the Potomac posted. The Tenth and Eighteenth Corps from the Army of the James will be online by early June 2013, and then I’ll finish up with 6th Corps, Army of the Potomac. If you are reading this and you have information to share on a New York infantry regiment during its time at Petersburg, click the unit’s link above and comment on the proper page. I’d be happy to hear from you!
