These pages and sub-pages contain reports and correspondence which can be found in the Petersburg-specific volumes of The War of the Rebellion: A Compilation of the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies. The Petersburg Campaign from June 13-July 31, 1864 is covered in Volume XL, Parts 1, 2, and 3. The campaign from August 1 to December 31, 1864 is recounted in Volume XLII, Parts 1,2, and 3. The third and final portion of the Siege of Petersburg, from January 1, 1865 to the end of the Siege on April 2, 1865 is handled in Volume XLVI, Parts 1, 2, and 3.
