Casualties

In the Eighteenth regiment Virginia infantry to the sixth June, in fights near Cold Harbour;

Colonel H.A. Carrington, commanding.

Company B- Wounded: Sergeant J.B. Harrington, in hand; Privates Henry Moore, in leg; J M Cumpton; in head, slight.

Company C- Wounded: Sergeant W P Temple, in hand; Private E J Burke, in leg.

Company D- Lieutenant James A Waltbail, in breast severely.

Company E- Killed: Private James A Boatwright. Wounded: M J Moore, arm

Company F- Wounded: Private W.J. Smith in hand/

Company I- Killed: Private S G Tosh, wounded: Private J D Hodnett, in hand.

Company K- Wounded: T M Jones neck; severely.

Casualties

In the Forty-Sixth Virginia infantry, Wise’s Brigade, commanded by Colonel B. Harrison, in charge of the enemies rifle pits, June 2d 1864.

Company A- Wounded: Corporal W. D. Snead, face

Company B- Killed: James Moore, wounded: E E Wooldridge, hip.

Company C- Killed: D B Ramsey

Company E- Wounded: George T Mason, face slight; John Kellam, arm, slight

Company G- Wounded: Sergeant Benjamin Martin, arm broken, L Bennington, arm- broken and finger; R W Norvelt, face; S C Pugh, shoulder; H N Pugh, thigh, slight; J R Quick, shoulder

Company H- Wounded: R Thurston, finger

Company I- Killed: W W Durham, Wounded: D H Fellows, since dead

Company K- Wounded: J W Hipes, thigh, broken.
