Federal expedition to Hicksford, and skirmishes, the Richmond, VA, Campaign.  12/7-12/1864.

Federal reconnaissance to Hatcher’s Run, and skirmishes, the Richmond, VA, Campaign, as the military activity along the siege lines of Petersburg, VA, begin to pick up.  12/9-10/1864.

Skirmish in front of Fort Holly, near Petersburg, VA, as Lieut. Gen. Ulysses S. Grant, USA, keeps mounting pressure on the Confederate defensive lines.
