Is there any mention or image of Dr. William Pentacost Powell in the book?

        good question, but I don’t know. I don’t actually own a copy.

I have a copy. Unfortunately, it has been some little while since I read it and do not recall who all was mentioned. I’ll have to skim the book and see if I can find any mention for you. It will be a little while before I ca get to it but, I’ll try not to be too long.
One thing you might consider- You can probably get a copy through an inter-library loan. Just check with your local library. If a book can be checked out from any library in the country, you can get it. A great service and still free!

        Jim,

You have a good point on ILL. I’ve got a massive list of regimental histories in an excel spreadsheet. I mark the ones which are unavailable or prohibitively expensive as I’LL possibilities. I just haven’t acted on it yet, but I need to.
